HOW IT WORKS

Buyers can’t picture themselves in a home full of someone else’s things. Our sale preparation cleanouts clear clutter, excess furniture and everything in the garage and yard so the home photographs well and shows well.

We work with homeowners, families and realtors on tight listing timelines — and through our Free Cleanout Program, up to $1,200 of the cleanout can be reimbursed at closing when the home is listed and sold with EE Listings.

  • Excess furniture removal — opening rooms up so they feel larger
  • Garage and yard clearing — buyers look in the garage too
  • Timed to your listing — we schedule around photos, staging and open houses
  • Realtor coordination — we can work directly with your agent

Common Sale Preparation Projects

  • Before listing photos — clear rooms in time for the photographer
  • Before staging — empty the home so the stager can work
  • After an accepted offer — clear everything before closing
  • Inherited homes — prepare an estate property for sale
  • Downsizing sellers — clear what won’t fit in the next home

Cleanout or Cleanup — Which Do You Need?

A cleanout clears an entire space so it’s empty and ready for the next step. A cleanup targets one area — a room, yard, side yard or debris pile. Not sure? We’ll guide you during the estimate.
One Area
Cleanup
  • ✓ One room, yard, side yard or debris pile
  • ✓ Fast — often a few hours
  • ◐ Rest of the property stays as is
  • Usually Small or Medium
  • Best for a contained problem zone
